So here’s the problem with being a Sports Journalist and dating a sports fanatic….

I’ve written an article abput the close races in baseball’s Western divisions, and I’ve asked my loving boyfriend to give me his opinion.

He insists that I mention his favorite team possibly going to the World Series…but I don’t believe that is going to happen, so why should I include that in my article???

Sometimes you meet someone, and it’s so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together. As lovers, or as friends, or as family, or as something entirely different. You just work, whether you understand one another or you’re in love or you’re partners in crime. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest circumstances, and they help you feel alive. I don’t know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, or sheer blind luck, but it definitely makes me believe in something.

You would think that teenagers would be the rudest customers when really it’s mostly old, middle-aged people.

Teens always look terrified as customers.
